Clarice Rosa
I teach English at a Waldorf school in Brazil and have been writing poetry since I was 19. Here you will find my résumé and the 46 poems of Poesia Cintilante, in the original Portuguese.
I. About
The classroom and the notebook
I started working in education at 15, writing tutorials for teachers in school computer labs. I have been in schools ever since.
I hold a teaching degree in Portuguese Language and Literature from UNIFESP and another in Education, and I trained in Waldorf Education at Faculdade Rudolf Steiner. Today I teach English to grades 1 to 5 at Escola Waldorf Kuan Yin, through verses, songs and a lot of free writing.
I have published poetry since I was 19. Three books so far. The latest, Poesia Cintilante (“Sparkling Poetry”), came out in 2025 with paintings by Raul Gabriel Muradi.
Outside school: violin, transverse flute and choir, where I sing soprano.
